Molly's Lotment - Labelling

Root Ginger
Last year I thought I might have a try to grow some root ginger, This was just an ordinary piece left over from a supermarket buy. It grew very well over the summer months. I potted it up and labelled it and brought it out of the poly tunnel  into the house to over winter.

Green Shoots
What a thrill a few weeks ago to see stubby little green shoots appearing through the compost.
Little white bell-like flowers like tiny bracts started to appear.

Solomon's Seal
Today, no doubt about it, the pot I'd labelled as 'Green Ginger' was actually 'Solomon's Seal'

As that optician's advert keeps telling us ......'Should Have Gone To You Know Who!'
